Each Day a New Beginning (EDANB) is a sober living house for women located in Gonzales, LA. Our mission is to provide a safe and sober living environment for women who are on a recovery journey from alcohol and/or drug addiction. Our hope is to help women who are serious about recovering from their addiction to become productive members of society and to live a happy and sober life. Our clients usually come from treatment centers, detox facilities and even jails (if their crime was drug or alcohol related and non-violent). Each Day a New Beginning is a non profit certified by the State of Louisiana and a 501 3(c) organization.

Each Day a New Beginning is an organization providing a safe and sober living environment for women who are on a recovery journey from alcohol and/or drug addiction. Our concept is based on a direct responsibility to our community and years of sober experience. Our hope is to help women who are serious about recovering from their addiction to become productive members of society and to live a happy and sober life.
Description & Eligibility
A sober living house is a chemical free living home. It is designed as an extended care program for clients who have completed a 5-7 day detoxification program or an in-patient treatment program and merit an additional period of support and structure. It is also designed for women who have a period of sobriety and feel the need for this type of support. Due to limited space, placement depends on availability of beds, client’s progress and dedication to recovery and need for additional structure. Subutex, Suboxone or Methadone is not allowed at Each Day a New Beginning House. No synthetic substance of any kind is allowed. If you have been on any of these, prescribed or not, you must complete a detoxification program for these substances.
