The entry fee is $330.00 which covers the first 3 weeks of fees.  $15.00 is paid to cover the cost of the drug/alcohol screen.  All fees are non-refundable

Each Day a New Beginning at times has a scholarship fund to assist with entry into the house.  Do not let lack of funds deter you from looking to come into EDANB.

Bring your personal care items, ensuring that none contain alcohol.  You should also bring approximately 10 outfits.  EDANB provides bed linen, pillows and towels.  Feel free to bring a favorite pillow if you have one.

Upon entry into the house you will be given a copy of the house rules.  These rules are to maintain order and cleanliness in the house as well as assisting you to learn responsibility as a sober woman.  You  will also be attending meetings of Alcoholics Anonymous and obtaining employment.  There may be other recovery-oriented activities in which you may be asked to participate.

The weekly fee to live at EDANB is $110.  This covers room, electricity, water, internet, phone, cable, cleaning supplies, and paper products.

Clients are responsible for their own food; however, there is always “house food” for clients to eat.  It is a guarantee that no one will ever go hungry in our house.

Non narcotic, prescribed medication may be taken as needed for physical or mental illnesses.  Clients sign a contract agreeing to take medication as prescribed.  Misuse of meds could lead to a request to leave EDANB.  No Subutex, Klonopin, Suboxone, Xanax or the like may be taken at EDANB.

As long as you are working a program of recovery, following the house rules, are current on your rent, etc. there is no limit to the time you can live in the house.

Donations are used for any legitimate purpose for the benefit of the house or its clients. 

This is a donation which is specifically earmarked for scholarships.  There are different levels of scholarship along with related qualifications. the most frequently given Scholarship  is to assist women with the entrance fee for the house.
